The best stories about Georgia Tech frequently begin with the simple words "I remember . . . ". Through these stories, vivid personal accounts of hard work, play, pranks, friendship and admiration give a personal dimension to Georgia Tech that is absent from official histories of our great alma mater.

The Living History Program was launched in 1994 to collect the life stories of our Tech family. This growing body of recollections allows one to experience history in a very personal way. Memories of campus and town life from as early as 1915 provide an unusually varied and rich treasure to explore. The complete Living History videotape collection is available at the Georgia Tech Archives Department T171 .G47 G57x.

As individuals are interviewed, their stories are carefully documented and preserved. It is from this archive that we

present a sampling of stories in digital video format. Take a moment to hear these stories. Some will astound you;

others will make you laugh. All will make you proud to be a member of the Tech family.
