Subjects covered within the rare books include mathematics, the history

Outstanding among the titles are the first three editions of Newton's
Principia and the Blaeu Atlas.

Rat caps, buttons, belt buckles, tickets, cheerleading uniforms, and
Buzz bedroom shoes are examples of the treasures found in the Tech
3-D collection.

Digital Collections:
Digital collections maintained by the Archives and Digital Initiatives Departments include web exhibits created from digitized archival materials from the Manuscript Collections, University Archives, and Visual Arts Collections. In addition, the Archives manages born-digital materials, such as Institute e-publications in conjunction with the Library and Information Center 's institutional repository, SMARTech.

The Archives provides access to several databases for efficient access to various types of materials in the collections, including photographs and campus publications.
