Biography of Hugh Harris Caldwell
Hugh Harris Caldwell was born around 1880. Caldwell graduated from Davidson College and Columbia University. He was the registrar at Georgia Tech for twenty-seven years. He died in July 1943.

Description
This correspondence focuses mainly on the daily activities of the Georgia Tech Registrar's Office, but also documents other institutions, such as Bowden State Normal and Industrial College and the University of Kentucky. Correspondents include A. C. Fraseur, W. M. Stumban, R. K. Hopkins, Lola F. Beck, Ezra L. Gillis, E. J. Ford, Charles Cleveland Ely, T. R. Branch, and W. O. Cheney. Correspondence is both incoming and outgoing, and not all correspondence is between Caldwell and another individual. Some is to and from T. R. Branch, registrar before Caldwell.
