Abstract:The Scottish Rite Football Classic Award was an annual tradition benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The collection consists of two certificates from the football classic.

Biographical/Historical Note

The annual Scottish Rite JV Football Classic, which is played to benefit the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, features the Junior Varsity teams of Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia as the two opposing teams. The game, traditionally played on Thanksgiving Day, has taken place annually since 1933.

Scope and Content Note

This collection consists of two certificates commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Scottish Rite Football Classic.
