Abstract:This collection contains a single piece of correspondence from the Georgia Tech faculty to the Georgia Tech Board of Trustees, which dealt with group insurance for faculty and staff.

Biographical/Historical Note

Although many health and insurance benefits are available to faculty and staff at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the twenty-first century, it is unknown at this time when many of these benefits were instituted.


Scope and Content Note

This collection contains a single piece of correspondence from the Georgia Tech faculty to the Georgia Tech Board of Trustees. The correspondence is concerned with a formal request for group insurance for faculty and staff, and it outlines a plan that had been presented to the faculty by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
