Dark Objects

148
α(2000)20h 47m 44s, δ(2000) +59 38
Galactic Coordinates 96,+10
Very small, round, indefinite, diam. 3
149
α(2000)20h 49m 03s, δ(2000) +59 32
Galactic Coordinates 96,+10
Very small, round, indefinite, diam. 2. This spot and B 148 each in a larger dusky space
150
α(2000)20h 50m 41s, δ(2000) +60 18
Galactic Coordinates 97,+10
Curved dark marking, 1 long. This curved marking, convex to the north, is much broken with darker masses. The position given is for its center. The star BD+592291 (8.0 mag) is close to its northeast edge. Its east end is in about a = 20h 51m 00s, d = +59 45'. The west end curves southward and ends near BD+592283 (8.2 mag) (see ibid., 43, 1-8, 1916, Plate I, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1, 394-96, 1915).
151
α(2000)21h 08m 14s, δ(2000) +56 19
Galactic Coordinates 96,+6
Very small, very dark, diam. 1, about 14 N of BD+552529 (7.5 mag), apparently a real object in a slightly larger vacancy
152
α(2000)21h 14m 30s, δ(2000) +61 44
Galactic Coordinates 100,+9
Small, 15 x 3 SE and NW. Close north of BD+612103 (8.0 mag). The west end is larger, with a small star in it. (In Astrophysical Journal, 43, 5, 1916, it is wrongly stated that this object is south of the BD star.)
153
α(2000)21h 21m 03s, δ(2000) +56 27
Galactic Coordinates 97,+5
 Black, irregular, diam. 1, 5 S of BD+552565 (7.4 mag)
154
α(2000)21h 21m 23s, δ(2000) +56 37
Galactic Coordinates 97,+5
Narrow, 8 long NE and SW, BD+552565 (7.4 mag) at the S end
160
α(2000)21h 37m 59s, δ(2000) +56 14
Galactic Coordinates 98,+3
Large, dark, irregular, diam. 31 NE and SW. The east side is best defined with two dark projections from it 30' apart. An irregular, narrow, dark lane runs north from it for 2 to a large nebulous region
161
α(2000)21h 40m 22s, δ(2000) +57 49
Galactic Coordinates 100,+4
Small, black spot. This is one of the comet-shaped objects. The head is very sharp and black, 3' across. This extends north for some 3', then widens out into a less dense tail about 13' long.
354
α(2000)20h 58m 14s, δ(2000) +58 09
Galactic Coordinates 96,+8
Dusky, irregular, 1 NE and SW
357
α(2000)20h 59m 52s, δ(2000) +55 34
Galactic Coordinates 94,+6
Irregular, dusky, diam. 30, BD+552495 (7.9 mag) in NW edge, BD+542455 (9.0 mag) near center
359
α(2000)21h 06m 47s, δ(2000) +57 10
Galactic Coordinates 96,+7
Narrow, dusky, 20 long NE and SW, BD+562527 (8.7 mag) about 7 W of SW end
360
α(2000)21h 07m 53s, δ(2000) +56 30
Galactic Coordinates 96,+6
Irregular dark marking. This, together with the dusky space in which B 151 is located, forms an irregular, zigzag marking 54' long.
365
α(2000)21h 34m 53s, δ(2000) +56 43
Galactic Coordinates 98,+4
 Dark S-shaped object, 22 long N and S, BD+552604 (9.0 mag) near SW end
366
α(2000)21h 40m 22s, δ(2000) +59 34
Galactic Coordinates 101,+5
Roundish, dusky, diam. 10, 12 S of BD+592409 (6.9 mag), two small stars on N border
