    netLibrary provides access to over 15,000 electronic books (eBooks), both copyright-free and copyright-protected published materials, such as reference books, scholarly monographs, publications of many University Presses, and consumer books that have been converted into digital format. It is possible to perform full-text searches of a single eBook, search thousands of volumes simultaneously, browse topic categories, or read eBooks directly online. Other search options are available as well (subject, publisher, title, author, etc.). NOTE: Every individual user must create a personal user name and password in order to check out eBooks.

    OverDrive is a sophisticated platform for downloading and reading eBooks. The Library purchased OverDrive with a generous grant from the Lewis H. Beck Educational Foundation to supplement its growing leisure collection. Currently, the library offers popular bestsellers, a science fiction collection, and growing DVD collection.
  • Safari Books Online
    Access limited to GT users
    A collection of technical e-books in computer science and information technology, including programming languages, operating systems, software applications, and much more from O'Reilly and Pearson Technology Associates. Also included are imprints from Cisco Press, Adobe Press and Sams. The Safari search engine lets users locate information by finding all occurences of the search terms. Searches provide relevancy-ranked results, hit-lists of book chapters containing the search terms, complete tables-of-contents and indexes for each book, color charts, graphs and other illustrative materials, and cut-and-paste code segments.
