Course Lecture DVDs

The Center for Distance Learning and Professional Education sends recorded course lectures to the library for viewing. Contact the Circulation Department for information on availability.

When does the library receive new lecture DVDs?
The DVDs are delivered to the library Monday thru Friday via courier.  There is usually a 1 day wait for newly recorded lectures.

Where does the library keep course lecture DVDs?
The DVDs are kept behind the Circulation Desk on 1 East.

How long can I keep the DVD?
The DVD should be returned within 3 hours.

What do I need to do to borrow a Course Lecture DVD?
The Circulation Department will need to hold an ID in exchange for a DVD.  Please give the Circulation Department the course number and date of the course you wish to view.

Can I take it to my dorm to watch?
No, course lecture DVDs are for in library use only.

Where can I watch the DVD?
We have DVD players located on 2 West.  There are also DVD players in every computer in the LEC and LWC. 

Can I borrow more than one at a time?
No.

How long does the library keep the DVDs?
All DVDs are sent back to the Center for Distance Learning at the end of each semester.
