Laptops & Accessories

All items are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk in the LEC and are 4 hour in-building use items unless noted otherwise. 

We are happy to provide the GT community with a variety of equipment and accessories.  In order to ensure equal access for everyone, overdue fines may be assessed at the rate of $1.00 per hour unless noted otherwise.

  • Laptops

    Dell Latitude Laptops with wireless internet.  Power cords/adapters are available as a separate checkout.  One renewal is allowed, based on availability.  For information on software offerings - View the Software List.

  • External DVD Burner

    DVD Burner with USB 2.0 connection.  All necessary the software, drivers, connection cable and a user guide are included.

  • Graphing Calculators (2 Hour in-building use)

    TI-89 advanced graphing calculators come with the software and connection cables necessary to integrate your work on a PC. 

  • Headsets

    Behind-the-head style with adjustable microphone and in-line volume controls.

  • Optical Mouse

    Optical mouse with USB 2.0 connection.

  • Peripheral Cables

    We have a line of USB and Firewire peripheral cables to help you manage your cameras, camcorders, and other devices.  They are gold plated and provide exceptional transfer rates.

  • Task Light

    A USB powered task/reading light.  Light has a flexible body and is great for supplementing light in the carrels and study nooks on the higher floors.

  • USB Flash Drives

    512 MB flash drives for file transfer and storage.

  • USB Floppy Drive

    3.5” Floppy drive with a USB 2.0 connection.

  • Webcams

    Webcam for video-conferencing and remote study sessions.  Software and drivers are included.

  • Wireless Antenna (24 hour out of building use)

    Wireless internet network adapter for PCI/II expansion ports. All the appropriate software and drivers are included. For more information on the GT wireless network, visit the OIT website.

  • Wireless Presenter w/ Laser Pointer (4 hour out of building use)

    Device allows wireless manipulation of PowerPoint slideshows for presentations.  

  • Zip Drive

    Iomega Zip 250 drive with a USB 2.0 connection.  It comes with the appropriate software and drivers, though they may not be necessary.
