Introduction
The CrossFire databases are derived from the two most comprehensive handbooks of evaluated chemical data published: the Beilstein Handbook of Organic Chemistry and the Gmelin Handbook of Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry.
Access to the databases is provided via client / server architecture. Commander, the client, must be installed on a computer in order to access the CrossFire Databases which are located on a server at the University of Wisconsin.
The CrossFire databases are available 24 hours per day with no limit to the number of concurrent Georgia Tech users.
