Library Service Listing

Course Reserves - Equipment Lending is a service where the Library circulates equipment that is owned by a partner department outside of the Library. For example, the Library currently circulates myDAQs and mbed kits that were purchased by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and are required for some ECE courses.

This service provides consultations on incorporating library content, digital learning objects, and library-provided subscription media in courses in the current learning management system (Canvas). This includes, but is not limited to, library-created Canvas materials, tutorial videos (either hosted on Mediaspace/Kaltura or other platforms), surveys, quizzes and assessments, streaming media, and open educational resources (OER).

Every record in the Georgia Tech Digital Repository is assigned a persistent identifier, a long-lasting reference to the digital resource that provides a method for reliably identifying, verifying and locating that resource over time. Further registration with DataCite and the assignment of a DOI is available for some materials, such as datasets, upon request.
