    The Georgia Tech Library features options for both collaborative work and quiet study throughout the building. Please note the sixth and seventh floors are quiet work spaces.

    ORCID iD is a free, unique, persistent identifier for individuals who engage in research and scholarship. ORCID iD facilitates proper attribution for scholarly work, and meets NSPM-33 requirements to protect research.

    OSF Institutions enhances transparency and increases the visibility of research outputs, accelerating discovery and reuse. Researchers who share their work via Open Science Framework (OSF) are able to affiliate their scholarship with the Institute.

    OverDrive

    OverDrive is the Library's platform for downloading and reading ebooks, including full-text popular reading titles. Borrow and read ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines using your phone or tablet.

    Patents & Trademarks

    As a Patent and Trademark Resource Center, the Library provides free patent and trademark-related training and research consultation to students, faculty and staff on campus, as well as inventors, entrepreneurs, artists and historians from the public around the state. Collaborating with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and stakeholders on and off campus, the Library creates various programs to meet community needs and provides coordination and scheduling of the virtual assistant program for inventors.

    Printing

    B&W and color printing is available throughout the Library. Poster printing in available in the Print Studio which houses three wide-format plotters capable of printing in 24-inch, 36-inch and 42-inch widths of any length.

    The Georgia Tech Records Center provides long-term, secure storage for campus business and academic records whose retention is required to meet legal and/or fiscal guidelines.

    Research Consultations

    Do you need expert help finding information or resources for a paper or research project? Questions about the Georgia Tech Open Access Policy, or about complying with funder mandates? Copyright or author rights concerns, or questions about scholarly communication issues? Assistance is available with the Library’s subject matter experts. The service is available to individuals or groups, and is offered on both a drop-in and appointment basis.
