Parking & Access

There are several Handicapped Parking spaces at the corner of Ferst Drive and Cherry Street [view map] - however, in addition to the state-issued disability placard or license plate, a Georgia Tech Parking Permit must also be displayed to use these spaces. The Library Main Entrance is located on Cherry Street, approximately 100 yards from these spaces.

For visitors who do not have a Georgia Tech Parking Permit, the nearest lot is the Student Center Visitor Lot [view map] however, elevator access from the Student Center level may not be available on evenings and weekends.

From the Main Entrance (Bobby Dodd and Cherry Street):

An automated door provides wheelchair access to the main entrance, at the corner of Cherry Street and Bobby Dodd Way. After 5:00 and on weekends, a fob will allow GT Community entry/exit into the Library.  The fob allows the reader to recognize and release the door to open from a distance.
