The Georgia Tech Library offers students, faculty and staff a host of technology options. These include various computing areas, a wide range of software, and multimedia services.

Clough Cluster

Clough Cluster

 OPEN - Computing stations have been reconfigured to accommodate social distancing. In order to use the clusters, you will need to request keyboards and mice by using “Ask Us” at library.gatech.edu or texting 770-691-5275.

Located on the 3rd floor of Clough Commons, the cluster features Dell thin clients with dual 24 inch monitors.

Software includes: Adobe Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audacity, EndNote, MatLAB, Office, MiKTeX, Notepad++, Python, TeXtstudio, Wolfram Mathematica and more.

4th floor General Computing

High Performance Computing

 CLOSED - The High Performance Computing cluster located on the 3rd floor features Dell Precision high performance computers with dual 27 inch monitors.

Software includes: SAS, ArcGIS, Tableau Desktop, R Studio, QGIS, Google Earth, Python, Jupyter NoteBook, Adobe Photoshop, Irfanview, VLC and more.

We are happy to provide the community with a variety of equipment and accessories for both scholarly and leisure needs.

B&W and color printing is available throughout the Library. All printers use your BuzzCard. See Student Printing for more info.

 

Copiers are located in the INFOdesk area, Grove Level. Black & White: $.08/copy, Color: $.49/copy. Payment is made with BuzzCard.

 

Large format and map scanning is available in Media Scholarship Commons, Price Gilbert 3rd floor.

Multimedia Services

The Media Scholarship Commons located on the 3rd floor of the Library in the Price Gilbert building, provides the campus community access to professional-level hardware and software for the creation of creative media-rich projects and research.

The space gives campus users access to a reservable full video and audio production studio with control room, whisper booth, lightboard, and green screen technologies. The MSC also provides users with a reservable post-production video-editing suite, and an open lab with multimedia software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Pro Tools. The lab is staffed by student experts and provides services and support for large format printing.
