Space Use:

  • Reservations are limited to official Georgia Tech hosted events
  • In scope: events supporting undergraduate learning, Georgia Tech outreach events
  • Out of scope: events that charge admission, non-Georgia Tech events

Catering: 

Event hosts must follow the Georgia Tech Catering Providers Policy. All events with food will be required to rent trashcans from Georgia Tech Custodial Services.

Booking Considerations:

  • A mandatory cleaning fee, payable to Georgia Tech Building Services, is required for all weekend events hosted in Clough Commons event spaces. This fee is determined by the number and size of spaces used, see Classroom Cleaning Cost Structure for FY2024 for more info.
  • Tables, chairs, linens, AV, sound system, easels, catering, set-up, and breakdown are the responsibility of the renter. Clough Commons does not provide these items or services.
  • Permission to play music at an event are dependent upon the day and time.
  • Décor, signage, banners, flyers or art installations may not be adhered to any building surface.
  • External/non-GT hosted events are NOT permitted.

Clough Commons Weekend Events: Terms & Conditions

  • More than two cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice will render the event host unable to book another event location in the Library or Clough Commons for one calendar year.
  • Event hosts are responsible for ensuring that the room is left in same condition as it was found, including clearing of all catering items, ensuring all trash and food is disposed of, and resetting furniture arrangement. Failure to do so will result in a $400 emergency cleaning fee.
