The Georgia Tech Library promotes Intellectual Property (IP) consciousness on campus and facilitates copyright compliance. Please see below for a host of resources curated by our expert faculty.

Located on the 4th floor of Price Gilbert, the Teaching Studio is the Library’s hub for the design, support, and practice of teaching. It features a self-serve capture space for recording and practicing presentations and pre-recorded lectures. The open space features plenty of comfortable sofa seating and highboy tables with integrated outlets and power. 

Faculty and post-docs can use the studio whenever the library is open. BuzzCard access is required for entry.  

Georgia Tech Records Management provides guidance to the campus community in matters relating to records retention and destruction. Records Management is responsible for documenting destruction of records that have reached the end of their retention period and provides for the secure destruction of paper files at no cost to the department or unit. Records Management also maintains a Records Center for the long-term storage of physical records throughout their retention period.

The Georgia Tech Library, in partnership with the Office of Disability Services is dedicated to making its collections, web resources, services, and physical spaces accessible to everyone by adhering to accessibility standards, incorporating user feedback, and offering accommodations.

In an effort to improve service across the Institute, the Georgia Tech Library recently announced a shift in how Librarians interact with students, faculty and staff: a team model for subject matter experts.

Instructional Faculty at the Georgia Tech Library teach dozens of free drop-in workshops yearly on professional technologies, software, and scholarly resources to support your students and research.
